The new Selca SDD digital drives guarantee excellent response of the axes and have been designed for high speed milling applications where dynamic response and precise path control are essential. The SDD drives are of modular type with single and two-axes regulation and power modules enabling system to be configured with a number of axes and spindles suiting the specific application requirements. Communication with the CNC is through a fibre optic link in digital format according to the IEC 1491 standard protocol ensuring very high data transmission speeds and total immunity from electromagnetic interference.

The Selca DCM axis and spindle regulation cards are also fully mechanically and electrically compatible with some other market drives.

The configuration includes:
  • Power supply modules with regeneration MI-RPS or without regeneration MPS
  • Services power supply APS
  • Single and two-axes regulation modules DCM
  • Single and two-axes power modules DPM
