Overview

The MDL series is an advanced high-speed giant 5-axis machining center which ensures maximum productivity in the machining of style models and prototypes, as well as in the finishing of large-sized moulds and aeronautical parts made of aluminium alloy and composite materials. Using 5-axis heads equipped with (optional) torque motors, optical lines with 0.005 resolution on the linear axes and high rigidity frames enhance the machining accuracy and finishing quality features. A wide range of models and cutter heads enable meeting any kind of dimensional and technological needs.

Closed circuit control system

The machining center can be equipped with a system that enables displaying the whole work area by means of an LCD 15" colour monitor, placed next to the CNC station.

The system enables the operator to comfortably customize the various framings of the installed telecameras in order to facilitate the machining center operations.

The system can be remotely controlled by any PC.

Customized dust suction systems

Employing 5-axis CNC-controlled hoods and floor suction systems can be supplied. On request suction systems for connection with the machining center and in compliance with the CE and ATEX directives can also be provided.

Dust Suction Tables

Dust suction tables embedded into the floor on the whole working area. Extremely suitable for aerospace and boating industry, they are equipped with holes for positioning of piece clamping equipments.

Perimetric and Integral Cabs

With Special attention is dedicated to the design of perimetric and integral cabs, equipped with manual and automatic doors for the easy handling of equipment and workpieces within the work area.

We designed the covering of the cabs in such a way as to be able to easily find the maintenance points when they are removed.

SDS Measurement Cycle

System for checking the rotary axis alignment. It is a system that allows, thanks to an NC programmable cycle, to control and automatically align the rotary axes by means of a Renishaw sensor.
